The League of Women Voters of Philadelphia invites you to our Annual Business Meeting.
June 27th, 2009
10 AM - 2 PM
at University of Penn Fels school of Government
3814 Walnut St. On the corner of 39th and Walnut
At the Annual meeting we will provide a quick overview of the past year, vote on our proposed budget, update positions & policy, elect our new board and provide direction to incoming Board.
Lunch will be served.
This meeting is open to all our members.
You must be a member in good standing to vote.
Fels is located at 3814 Walnut St. On the corner of 39th and Walnut (39th is not a through street)
Off-street parking is available at the Penn garage located at the corner of 38th and Walnut Streets.
Bus Routes are 21 (69th St. to Penns Landing) or 30 (30th St. to 69th St.)
The League of Women Voters, a non-partisan and non-profit organization, works at all levels of American government acting on behalf of particular legislation and providing balanced information about all candidates for political office. The organization's name, like its mission, derives from the proud legacy of the women's suffrage movement. Today's members are women and men; any citizen aged 18 or older can join.
